| Come on people - on double track lines make sure that BOTH tracks are clear before crossing!!! This young lady started crossing after the first Amtrak passed not waiting for the gates to come up and not being able to tell that a second Amtrak was coming on the other tracks - good thing it was a passenger train already slowing down for the station - CSX and Rocky Mount really need to get OLS in teh schools there - this is the second time I've seen a young person on a bicycle almost hit by a train by crossing when the gates are down. Yes, there are some slow trains there, but a couple of minutes is not worth your life. |
