| the building in the background is some sort of apartment house - I'm not sure if it was always apartments or converted from a mansion - most of the big houses in Muscatine are up the hill on 2nd/3rd street where there is no risk of flooding and away from the industrial riverfront, so it may have been built as apartments. It looked much better here in 2008 than it did in 2010. |
